Until November 2004, Free Expression managed the Corb Lund Band for over four years developing
a career that has seen him become known internationally with record deals with Stony Plain Records
(Canada and USA), Loose Music (UK) and Vital Entertainment (Australia). In 2006, Marlene was
presented with a special plaque for being part of the team that helped Corb Lund’s “Five Dollar Bill”
go ‘Gold’ in Canada.While developing Corb’s career, Marlene also worked as the Marketing Manager
for Festival Place (a 455 soft seat venue in Sherwood Park, Alberta, Canada) which included initiating
the Patio Series every summer.
